“Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning. Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again ”

“It was accommodation only. We had key code to let you in. Didnt see the owner at all. Bedroom was small but adequate. Ensuite was small. Bed was not that comfortable but it was very clean.”

“A beautiful old farmhouse with a lovely large garden in a lovely area. We enjoyed ourselves and the property was very clean and well presented. A minor issue (shower fell apart in one bathroom) was resolved quickly and with no fuss or question. We all felt a few more consumables would have been provided for a property of this size and quality. Many others we have stayed in over the years have provided a few bin bags for example (we were given one spare) and we had to move light bulbs about when……

“We had a great stay ...house was lovely, well equipped & communication was very good with owner.”

“Spent 3 nights in Batty’s barn for a wedding where our family stayed in all 3 properties on the farm. The farm is beautiful with loads of colours from the wild flowers. The welcome basket with bread, butter, jam etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Ed was super helpful so much so member of the wedding party broke down in the day of the wedding and he helped bringing the family member to the wedding venue being a true life saver! Beds were lovely and comfy and the house was lovely……

Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. The cottage is beautifully presented , warm and clean with a very comfortable sofa and bed. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I have experienced with everything that is required - a real home from……

“Beautiful rustic property, very cosy and clean, great communication from booking to the final stay date. A special thanks to Helen who promptly popped over to help us with the oven which was a little technical :) ”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & all was excellent but balcony doors jammed leaving small gap with guest having to get back in lounge through window . Contacted help which meant young man arrived promptly & managed to close door but this prevented the use of the balcony during our stay. Single bed duvet rather thick & heavy, otherwise all good.”
