This place was absolutely charming, the innkeeper was delightful, there’s a free breakfast which was amazing, our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the river and was easy walking to everything. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only downside would be if you can’t do stairs this is not suitable for you as there is no lift. But highly recommend if you are looking for a true European quaint inn.

Two night stay for family occasion. Receptionist very helpful in relation to sourcing a birthday cakes at short notice. Great location on the waterfront, ample shopping and dining options. Clean, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Recommended.

We had river view room 1st floor overlooks where beach island ferry docks. All very clean and helpful staff. Some minor music noise from below until around midnight but not that loud. Comfortable bed and bathroom all good. Breakfast included was fine with some hot eggs and bacon as well as numerous cold choice options. Easy nice walk along river walkway to roman bridge(5min) and many resturants. We eat in hotel resturant 1st night and good value for money. Parking free about 5min easy flat walk.Would stay again.

Great building in one of the best spots in Tavira, directly opposite the ferry stop. Great views from the balcony but very very dated property, only stayed for one night.

This was a nice place to stay in the middle of town (short 3-5 minutes to almost anything—so many great restaurants and cafes). The hotel has a lot of character, The room was nice, but definitely on the smaller side. Our room had a great view of the river and the center of town. Breakfast was free and was delicious. Parking is free but about 2 blocks away in a busy public lot on the river (away from town). Both times I parked I somehow snagged the last space there. There is another free lot not too far.

We booked a room with a terrace. That meant being on the third floor and no elevator. The trade off was that we had a beautiful view of the river watching the passenger ferry come and go. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for eating and activities. The hotel was the perfect place for us to relax at the beach after spending 10 days driving the entire length of the N2 from North to South. We would stay here again.

This hotel is a good choice for someone who needs a rest from busy daily life. It has has a great location as it is next to the ferry for the beach, a restaurant is on a ground floor, a main market hall is 5 minutes away. Big shopping centre is over the river - also quite close. Also near the bus station (train is further away). The residencia is well organised, the staff is helpful. I would not recommend another alternative place to stay in Tavira as there are in a different category.

We had a lovely four nights here in this older but charming hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with a Juliette balcony to relax on. Breakfast on offer was lovely and we enjoyed the evening meals… delicious! Right across from the ferry to Tavira Island it was a perfect spot.
