"Lovely hotel "

"There is no on-site parking, so be prepared for a short walk from wherever you manage to park. If you’re lucky you may find a free space as we did, although it wasn’t easy to locate one in the dark somewhere unfamiliar. There are paid car parks nearby, though I’m not sure about the rates or exact distances. Either way, expect around a 10-minute walk, which isn’t ideal when carrying luggage in the rain. The hotel operates a self check-in system, which I actually preferred. Two days before arrival I received both a text and an email with clear instructions for accessing the building and our room. The process was very straightforward and easy to follow. We arrived in the dark and initially all the lights were off, and we struggled to find some of the switches. As we were staying on the top floor it took a bit of figuring out, but nothing major. The room itself was clean and tidy, which for me is the most important thing in a hotel stay. The general facilities in the room were good. However, being on the top floor meant we had a sloped ceiling directly above the head of the bed, so you couldn’t really sit up without bumping your head. The bed also took up most of the room, which made moving around a little tricky. Perhaps a bit nit-picky, but I’m quite tall so it was noticeable. On the first night there was barely any water coming out of the tap, it was literally just a trickle. We were still able to have a shower, although the pressure wasn’t great. "Great location within walk of the beach. We were given an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the first tee on the golf course. The accomodation was modern and comfortable.. We had a bar meal and also breakfast during our two night stay and the quality of the food and service were excellent. Two things that would improve the place would be a lift especially when lugging up suitcases up and down the long stairs! The other was the lack of a washer in the shower head. This was reported and we used the rain shower that was working well."

"The Premier is a short walk from the train station. The room was big enough, comfortable big bed, coffee machine and kettle. We had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was a good way to start the day. The location is fabulous for walking on the beaches, exploring the town - lots of shops and restaurants right out the front door. Staff were great . "

"Lovely home but a couple of little niggles. We stayed at this lovely cottage for 2 nights in November 2025. There is a big garage attached to the property where you can park your car. You are not permitted to park outside of the garage due to the other properties on the plot. The garage would probably fit 2 cars if needs be. Loads of room in garage to store beach bits or waterproofs and boots.The kitchen and living area have everything you need including a smart TV, dining set comfy sofa and armchair, lots of blankets and a couple of poffes.TV is on the wall and we could not access the HDMI for our firestick - Not a major problem but would have been a bonus. The hob stopped working after breakfast on day 1 and we could not get it going again.We couldn’t find a sweeping brush which would have been handy for the wooden floors.Upstairs the bedrooms are nice with plenty of storage and the beds are comfy. We found some stray hairs in the beds which was a bit off putting but otherwise the place is spotless.Showers are OK but I’d have liked the water to be hotter since Nov can be chilly.Big big problem for us was the lack of blinds in the kids’ bedroom. This was so disappointing as the kids were up early both days! This would be even worse in the summer when the sun rises much earlier! This is such a lovely little house, close to town, but if we were to stay again I would check if blinds had been fitted in the kids bedroom. "

"Spotlessly clean. Plenty of kitchen utensils etc. Fantastic view from balcony, of a town I love. Good, clear instructions given about where to park etc. Large and bright flat. Plenty of activities beautiful beaches and attractions nearby. One minor issue was the mattress on one of the sinle beds was a bit uncomfortable as had a dip in the middle. Probably fine for a child but not an adult. "
