"We chose a family getaway for Thanksgiving this year and enjoyed our stay. Perfect setup for my husband & I on the main level, daughter & husband in the loft, 4 grandkids in the bunks and their uncle on the couch. Great table for family games we brought. You might want to update the kids games on hand, as most were found to be incomplete! Our grandkids are older, so was not a big deal for us, but if someone had younger kids it would be disappointing to see the games, and then find out you couldn’t play them because of missing pieces! Also, we had talked about lighting the fireplace, but there were no words of instruction as to the safety of starting it up, and there was worry about smoking up the place, so we hesitated to do so. Maybe include some guidance on that in your handbook.Overall, a great experience for us! Thank you!!"

"House was so cute. We loved the deck and the view from the hot tub was beautiful. We were surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was. Had planned for bare minimum so we overpacked but that’s a good thing in my eyes. I will comment that the dishes (plates, mugs) are not microwave safe and we did wish we had regular drinking glasses for milk/water. Beds were comfy, the TVs in the bedrooms didn’t work but it didn’t hinder our stay because we didn’t need them and the downstairs living room TV functioned fine."

"The house was extremely clean and even included a welcome basket. It contained everything we needed and was very quiet which was perfect for us. It was dog friendly which is another plus. We stayed here for our trip to Deadwood and Spearfish to photograph the wildlife in the area. "

"We had some issues with the automated emails and lack of info coming from Vrbo but the owner reached out personally and took care of everything. The house was great. Super cute and clean. The beds and pillows were comfy. I am weird and always bring my own TP because I hate the cheap stuff but they had the same stuff I brought. All amenities were nice. Great stay!"

"Very happy we booked this place!! We drove 15 hours from our home in Michigan to Lead, South Dakota. We were thrilled to arrive to this gorgeous, spacious, and clean cabin. We arrived 30/35 min or so before check-in time but the company was understanding and kind enough to allow us in right when we got there.Check in was simple with a security code. We had our 2 small dogs with us and there was plenty of flat space in/around the driveway to take them out to go “potty.” They enjoyed their little walks on the road carefully in their secure harnesses and on their leashes. We looked forward to taking them out each time. The views of the mountains were amazing! Very peaceful surroundings, even though there are other cabins around it. I actually loved that it wasn’t incredibly secluded. It felt safer to me and neighbors were quiet- no complaints at all!We chose to stay in Lead, South Dakota (first time in South Dakota!) because it was a good location to see so many places without having to drive too far in either direction. We made a lot of memories and took tons of pictures as forever keepsakes.After the long days, it was nice to use the hot tub on the lower level deck of the cabin before going to bed. Each morning, we loved sitting on the other deck to relax and take in the cabin views before another big day of sightseeing!Thank you for such a nice place to call “home” while visiting the beautiful state of South Dakota! We recommend staying here!! You won’t regret it!!!"
