"The Stampmill is in an old building in downtown Lead, and it has wonderful old woodwork but modern amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. My wife commented that the windows were not double-paned and let some outside noise get through, but it was very minor. The owner was helpful and answered when we texted regarding some supplies needed. Our suite had a living room with TV, a separate bedroom with TV, and a bathroom. There is no separate lot to park in, but we had no trouble finding parking on the street. We would recommend the Stampmill."

"House was very nice for our long weekend enjoying the areas attractions. We were comfortable and everything was lovely. The only comment I would share for others is that most of the homes in that area are built on hills. Parking is limited and the driveway is on a significant grade. Those with mobility issues may struggle dealing with loading and unloading... we were glad it was snowy or icy. Thanks for a great weekend!"

"We travel every 2 years together as a family. We love SD. And have found we love being close to ski resort. House was fit for all my family 4 adult children and their families along with my husband and I. Enough rome for everyone to have space. Host are very pleasant to work with. "
