“I arrived and went to my room. The lights in the bathroom did not work. They changed my room. Got to the new room, tv remote did not work, no biggie I went downstairs and they put batteries in it. The AC wouldn’t work then in the middle of the night I was woke up by the thermostat making a “ticking” noise. They said they would give me a credit but have not done that. I e been told 3 times the manager would call me, they aren’t in yet, will be in soon etc. none of this has happened.”

“We were cooked a full breakfast the next morning, had our beds turned down with chocolates and banana bread waiting for us in our room upon arrival. I have never felt so pampered and rested and all this while enjoying the environment of a 140 year old manor. My husband needed some time away from the busy life of teenagers and now we will be back yearly.”

When no one was available to do that, the gentleman asked for supplies to clean it himself, so that they could shower. After I checked in, there was a gentleman upset about the cleanliness of his room, as well. I was quite worried about what I was going to find in our room.
