"We stayed during the week and it was so quiet and private yet in the middle of an area that has tons to do. Close to beaches to walk the shore, restaurants, etc. We had great food on the property and enjoy the pool and grounds. Will return! "

"A great location, right in the heart of it all, but still relaxing and quiet for great rest.
We had a room on the second floor, facing the main road, so it was quiet. We loved the location- walkable to bars, restaurants, bakeries, the docks. Parking was available as we were a guest. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant or just sipping coffee on the dock. Some family friendly things as well- giant Jenga, a pool, a grassy area by the docks with seating, fire pits. "
"Really enjoyed that this Inn was further away from the main touristy area, but still walkable to the hustle and bustle. Amazing breakfast each morning too. Very close to the Cliff Walk and beach for a different trip than I have had to Newport in the past. Staff is incredibly nice and very responsive. Already booked our stay for next year!"
"Always love our stay at Hotel Viking. They have a great rooftop, great breakfast and bar downstairs. Unbelievable front desk staff and valet. Can’t wait to return "
"The room was very nice and the ocean view was as advertised. We only stayed one night, but if we are ever back in Newport for a longer visit, this is the place we will be looking to stay. The only minor hiccup was that the room was not ready at 4:00, but the area is nice and we walked on the Cliff Walk for a bit until the room was ready. We enjoyed the breakfast which had a good variety of choices. All in all, this is a charming location with an acomodating staff and we very much enjoyed our stay."
"The Attwater was a beautiful hotel, in the heart of Newport, but on a quiet sidestreet that made it easy to relax. The staff was wonderful and very helpful when answering my many questions. I highly recommend it and hope to stay there again in the future!"
