Newburyport The Collection Hotels

"I was a bit worried by some of the existing comments. We stayed in a deluxe king room (these rooms face the sunrise/sunset/overlook the river). The standard rooms have no view, face the back parking lot fyi. Writing this as someone who stayed during the off season and think we were one of maybe 3 guests staying at the hotel that night. That said, it was incredible! The views from the top deck were so beautiful, seeing Newburyport from across the water. The area was quiet at the time. Parking was available and I requested an end room and that was provided to me without question! The check in process is VIRTUAL the code and room number is sent via email or Expedia message attachment. I loved staying there, would definitely stay again if I get a good price. Room was VERY CLEAN, shower was hot, bed was comfortable. Clean towels and sheets. Well decorated and nice windows. I don’t think I have any complaints at all. The WiFi password was not written down anywhere so that’s my only suggestion is putting that on a paper in the room."

"Upon arriving our entry code wouldn't work so we had to stand in a hallway and call and wait for a new code . The "Pool" is at the YMCA " across the street(sneaky way to say they have a pool) " closed at 1 pm , can't check in until 4 Pm . You can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways their remedy for that is a very early quiet hour . You can still hear every door open and closing, people walking and talking in the hall . The rooms are equipped with very little in the kitchen . Only utensils are eating no bottle/wine opener, serving tools. The price I paid for this one$400+ night for one night was absolutely not worth it .. so disappointed. I will say they were clean . You also have to pay up to $40 to park "
