“The apartment was close to lots of restaurants, shops, and a convenience store. Rideshare drivers could easily find me. My unit was simple and clean. Getting in and out of the building was easy. "Marriott Hotels have always been my first choice for travel because of their excellent service and clean rooms. However, during this stay, there were two days when workers were hanging outside my window, talking and working. On one of those days, I was woken up a little after 8:00 a.m. by the noise of power tools. I was very tired and needed rest, so I declined the front desk’s suggestion to change rooms “after 8:00 a.m.” I completely understand that hotel maintenance is necessary, but if guests could be assigned to rooms away from active construction, it would feel more considerate. This way, I wouldn’t be woken up so early and have my whole day affected by a bad mood."
