Casablanca
Mosque of Hassan II, Casablanca, Morocco
The Hassan II Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in Morocco and Africa and the 7th largest in the world. The mosque stands on a prominent piece of land that rises up on the shore of the Atlantic and provides visitors with the most spectacular views of the ocean. It was decided by King Hassan II that the mosque should be built on this location because of a verse found in the Qur'an, which says that God's throne was built over the water. #beach #Waterlust
The second largest mosque in the world justifies the trip to Casablanca. It's a beautiful & peaceful place, built over the water, and is one of the few mosques non-Muslims can visit (on a guided tour)
