「Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. 「We found the staff very friendly, had a lovely meal in the restaurant with the staff very attentive. The room we were allocated was room 6, a cozy double room even so a chair of some kind would have been useful and yes there was enough room for one. It had a great shower but a shelf in the cubicle would be of great advantage. It would have been helpful to be advised in the advertising of the room that the window in the room was frosted so there were no views from the room.」
