"The room was comfortable, parking was easy, the pool was lovely. It’s about 2.5k from the centre of town. It looks like they’re in the midst of renovating the place so it’ll be good to come back and see how it turns out. "

On the older side but that made the price very good. We managed to avoid the timeshare/club sales pitch and thry didnt hound us like some people mention, just say no you are busy

"Excellent position overlooking Four Mile Beach, while being an easy walk to the shopping area. Good size 1 bedroom suite with a great balcony. The swimming pool area is very good. Just a couple of things that could be improved - the floors needed a really good clean and there were quite a few cobwebs around the ceiling and entry doorway. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again."
"Fantastic place to stay. Perfect location, 50 yards from beach and half that to start of town. Nicely appointed throughout. Hosts Robin and Sonya are delightful. We hope that we can find similar accommodation for the rest of our world travels. "
"This is our second time in a swim out room and we love it. The pool access is a bonus, proximity to town, the marina and the beach is also a plus for us. Easy to walk everywhere means we didn’t need a car for the time we were there."

"What a little slice of paradise Pool Resort is! We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day stay - leaving was so hard! The pool itself is stunning, the rooms are extremely well appointed and Brigid and Heather are just the most welcoming and lovely hosts. Can’t recommend this place more highly. It’s a little way out of the town centre, but the reliable local shuttles get you anywhere you need to go within the town. Perfect stay! "
"Very pretty property in a very secluded beautiful wooded location. The owner is an extremely nice person that has gone through recent tragedy in life and all support is appreciated. The property has a hippy vibe. It is not far from the town of Port Douglas but will be a 15 minute drive.
The owner has two Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue Heelers) that are extremely friendly, beautiful, and very intetilligent. They are quite fun to play with."
