“This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. However, it’s important to know that the property is part of a larger complex, including a duplex and nearby houses, so you can definitely hear the neighbors at times. “This house is beautiful. It has the best views. El Castillo is such a cute town, with some of the best food at the shops down the street (and a very good bakery). The house is very close to the lake and Arenal volcano, and about a 30-40 minute drive to the city center where you can do a bunch of different tour activities. The views are incredible!
