"The front desk staff were great, but there was a clump of hair in the bathtub, and the towels were all yellowed. Check-out was supposed to be at noon, but they came knocking at 10 a.m."

"Property is great as long as you don’t arrive 45 minutes early. They charge a $15 extra charge for early check in. I had traveled 6.5 hrs going from Eastern time to central time. Traffic was forgiving but this best western wasn’t. Make sure you aren’t early unless you want to pay additional for your room"

"The bathtub, toilet, and the refrigerator wasn’t cleaned properly and they were dog hair all over the couch. Also, I experienced a very unpleasant stay due to excessive noise coming from the room next door. The noise started around 8:00 PM and continued throughout the entire night until about 5:30 AM. Because of this constant disturbance, I was unable to get any sleep at all. It became so disruptive that I had no choice but to check out early at around 5:30 AM. I hope the management can address issues like this in the future so that other guests can have a more comfortable and restful stay."

" My major complaint is absolutely no hot water in shower. Seems the owner has it shut off. I took cold showers for 3 days. However there was hot water in kitchen. Other major complaint is living room furniture very old and uncomfortable. There was a huge hole in center of larger couch with cushions over hole. Furniture should be replaced. All beds should be replaced. You feel nothing but spring. Lake was beautiful, home was clean. It was peaceful but uncomfortable. If owner would update the furniture and allow a hot shower I would stay again. Other mentions: Also coffee maker did not work and only 2 plates in cabinet, dead animal carcus out front should be removed - it’s huge (deer) has been there awhile and should not be out there for display."
