By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

Stayed here during the marathon week/weekend and it was a game changer vs a hotel. There were 3 of us including my husband and daughter, and the space was perfect. Our daughter slept in the loft above so had plenty of privacy. We had an extra bedroom with the bunks. Admittedly it might get a little tight with more than 5 people, but it worked great for us with 3….we had more than enough space. Two bathrooms, two showers, a kitchen to cook in for the marathon, and washer/dryer combo, and nice central location. Rec for anyone looking to have a little more independence than a hotel and pay the same price - if not cheaper.

The staff was extremely courteous. The room had a few issues regarding connection to the Wi-Fi. The staff were prompt to send a staff member to address the issue but it continued to drop out at random after that fix. Additionally, I think due to the temperature change in the shower after use, it would intermittently make a banging sound for up to 2 hours after use. The room was clean and well-equipped. Check-out time is 1 hour earlier than other hotels.

Soacevjs nice, in a quiet area of town. It was easy to get to and close to the train stations. The rooms noce ans spacious but the batbrooms were tiny. Also there are no windows that you can open and they are completely covered. Overall it was a comfortable stay.
