Very quiet and somewhat secluded. Old cottage built in 1940 with more recent upgrades. We would stay there again if we are in the area. The owners took care to make it family friendly with beach and nautical accents.

We absolutely loved this spot. The scenery was beautiful and it was so fun to watch the deer eat apples at the neighbors. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Such a cute place, very comfortable and cozy. It was also impeccably clean. We would most definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for an amazing place to stay while on your Oregon Coast vacation, this place checks all the boxes. I have stayed at several rentals over the years and have never felt as home as we did stay here. The house was clean and comfortable and has everything you need for your stay, the views were amazing and its just a few minutes from our favorite Oregon town, Newport. I cant recommend this place enough, and we plan to make this our yearly retreat.

We come the area every yesar. This year it was so celebrate our daughters 2nd birthday. I loved the sound if the outside. Seeing the birds and the deers. Enjoying family time, going to the aquarium and watching the fireworks on the bay. The only thing was outside furniture had to be cleaned off cause of spiders and stuff not a huge deal.

Rugs

We were told pet friendly but once there and reading hand written instructions after being in house, are told to pick up all carpets as owners are highly allergic. Told not to let little dog in bed or on furniture. There was pet waste around outside we felt we needed to pick up so to not be accused. The house was wonderful and the location great. Just don’t bring pet. It should not be listed as pet friendly.

Excellent summer vacation getaway

My family and I stayed at Yaquina Bay House for 2 weeks and had a very relaxing and restful stay. The Oregon coast is really beautiful and Toledo is a great location for getting to a lot of it. The house was extremely intimate for a large family, but comfortable. I recommend this property for anybody wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy some of the peace and quiet of small town life.

Amazing, quiet spot with lots to enjoy

Wonderfully kept, stocked, and located - a short drive to Newport or Nye Beach. House had plenty of amenities, spent most time at the house either on the wrap porch or at the fire pit. All kinds of wildlife in the area. Super quiet. A must stay home!

Beautiful house close to the coast!

Myself, my husband, and our two 13 y/o’s stayed here. It was a great experience! It’s quiet, in a lovely area within walking distance to the river, and has chickens and deer across the road! Bed was super comfortable, windows were a bit janky but not an issue.

Family Vaca 2024

We stayed at the house for about a week. The house was great, there were deer that wandered into the yard almost daily which was super cool and the kids loved it. Place was very clean, communication was very frequent, no complaints. Very cute little place.

So nice

Oh I want to come back! Just a bit confused about the trash situation. We had fires in the fire pit and burned our paper trash each night so we only had a small bag of trash so we put it in the trash can. Other then that it was pretty straight forward. Lots of great tourist sites. We even went to the Toledo farmers market.The weather even cooperated!! And we even had a deer visit the yard!!

Family vaca 2024

Had a blast with my family. We will do this again :-) cobblestone pizza was great. 20 minutes from south jetty which was great. Tide pools, saw all sorts of crabs and star fish.
