"Good but not the best value for money. Pet friendly, which is nice. I only booked there because they could accommodate my senior dog who unfortunately passed prior to the trip. Bed very comfortable, nicest pillows I've ever slept on. Shower awkwardly designed, wasn't handheld but worked and was clean. Zero view with our room. Could see some questionable electrical work outside on the roof in front of our window which was fully frosted except for a small crack at the bottom. There was an open junction box lying next to a puddle of rain water. Planes very loud but not disruptively so. Room came to 286 CAD +30 for parking for one night with a discount and breakfast not included, menu is overpriced, but short bus ride to timmies and other restaurants or about 15 minutes walk. Certainly convenient to the airport. Door handle opened weird, installed upside-down. Room was okay but I've had better for less. You get the feeling they charge the maximum they can and pay the minimum for maintaining the property. I'd booked for 2 people and requested separate beds, but they only gave us one bed, it was fine. Staff were great though. But for a hotel that looks really swanky the room was kinda meh."
