"Thanks to our host, Rita, we had a wonderful stay. My wife and I enjoyed the evening immensely. The room was clean and the bed comfortable; the house is a delight, as was the food and drink. There is secure parking and you are close to town without being right in town. A quick drive to the Villa to admire the mosaics. "

Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all. But the actual host and property is very nice. "

"This is a multi-generational family-run property and they make you feel like family. It is just outside Piazza Amerina and a few minutes drive from the must-see Villa Romana. So much easier than trying to drive to and park at a hotel in the city. Parking is free. There is a restaurant onsite, which is also where you check in/out. The bed was comfy and the room & bathroom were spacious. Everyone from the owner & his mother to the extended family and cleaning staff treated us warmly. "

"The owner and staff at this hotel are wonderful. They wete kind and generous. The location opposite the duomo next to a bar and restaurant was perfect. The rooms are funky and fun. There is a kettle for tea and coffee in the room, which was terrific. Fabulous place to stay!"

"Xenia is a nice place with big rooms in sn old apartment house. It has great charm and atmosphere. The breakfast is good and incl. what one can expect. The traffic in the morning was a bit disturbing. "

"The room was nice. Had everything we needed. Language barrier aside, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Our passports were held overnight which was disconcerting, but normal I hear. My only complaint is the motion sensor light in the stairwell shut off mid staircase leaving us to use our cell phone lights to get up to our room."

"The best thing about the stay was Luana. She was helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. The heating unit did not heat the room sufficiently and the floors were way too cold. Rugs would have helped. It would also be helpful to have separate heating in the bathroom along with hotter water for the shower."

"Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Gorgeous pools. Must be great when it’s hot. Liked the jazz music - a good fit. Food was good but a little repetitive. I longed for insalatas but none were ever served. It’s an Agriturismo - Salades from the garden."
