“The main building, bar and restaurant are lovely and the parking is also good. Staff are friendly if perhaps not always immediately available. However, the room was distinctly average, or perhaps not worth the money paid. There was a strange smell in the room, which was worse in the heavily dated bathroom. Furnishings felt dated and completely out of character with the nicely decorated and furnished main areas. The window had no view at all and was even partly obscured glass, adding to the……

“Parking was easy, breathtaking views! Room was slightly dated and had some dirt in the room such as dirty fingner print marks on the walls & mold on the shower sealant... Staff were polite but also didnt seem to know what they were doing and could not find my booking for 10 minutes asking me multiple times to confirm i had booked there. Also had confusion over my booking type as expedia allowed me to select the 'pay at property' option (which was more expensive) then the hotel took the money out……

“Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. ”
