Best Vrbo House in the Desert

Stunning home amazing views, incredible property and privacy. Great outdoor pool area to enjoy sunrise and sunset. Bedrooms were luxurious and comfortable. Great kitchen living room areas. Huge fenced in area to take the dog out. Nothing bad to say about this wonderful house in the desert. Thank you thank you thank you.

Best home we have stayed in!

Fantastic location! Felt like we were in the beautiful desert but no more than 15 mins to anywhere - any shop, restaurant, gas station etc. Fantastic house! Plenty of room, beautiful decor, beautiful Adobe home, had everything we needed from utensils to pool towels. Gorgeous pool area, we spent most of our time there, even in the heat. Great property manager interaction, so helpful and nice! Made our stay fantastic! Just couldn't be any better, we sadly miss it so much and have only been home a day. Great area to see sights, such as Tucson, Mount Lemmon etc. The location is surrounded by Saguaros, mountains, and beautiful landscaping. I want to move there! Loved, loved, loved it!

This home is a gem!

It’s in a wonderful location close to amenities, but country-like so very private, quiet and filled with nature. We even found little dirt roads around to ride our bikes on. The cacti were in bloom! The pool area is hands down awesome. We paid the extra for heat and it was actually sufficient vs. other rentals we’ve had where they didn’t heat it warm enough to enjoy. The “kids” loved jumping off the rock into the deep end. Despite some warmish days, the home stayed totally cool and comfortable even with the ac off, by our choice. The layout made it so quiet on the one side that it was easy for all to sleep and wake when they choose. We loved the fresh white painted brick walls and the natural wood beams. With it having a well and septic, there is no garbage disposal and the water can take a minute to heat up. But not being in a suburban neighborhood was soooo appreciated and the water was like fresh spring water. We would not hesitate to book again and hope to come back!

GREAT HOUSE WITH HIDDEN FEES + NO HOT TUB

The property was lovely and worked out beautifully for our group of friends. It is a bit out of town, but gave the getaway vibes we were looking for. Only complaint is that information regarding fees and amenities changed from when we booked the property to our arrival. Be aware that you will not receive any support either from the management company regarding add on charges. Hot tub was broken (surprise!), we were charged $100 per day to heat the pool (surprise!) there was an added pet fee for each dog - not just a second dog (surprise!) Hot water in the sinks or showers takes 15 minutes of continuous running water to receive (surprise!) No toilet paper (surprise!) But overall we just rolled over because it was our vacation and we didn't want to spend it fighting with customer service - who simply continued to read from a script when we would call. Bottom line. Book it but know you might get dinged for extra stuff.

A Desert Oasis

As other reviewers have said, the secluded location is incredible if you are wanting a true desert feel. Fell asleep to nearby coyotes yelping a few nights. The pool area was fantastic and and very secure for dogs. The two sun umbrellas in the garage were a welcome addition (holes in patio for those). The home has a true adobe feel and the layout provides nice privacy for two different parties. The grill worked perfectlty (not the case with many other rentals we have had!) and we enjoyed making meals on it and in the kitchen. We did not use the casita but that's a cool option for extra guests (sofa pull-out). Expect to wait a few minutes for warm or hot water to start to flow but a small price to pay for such a unique property and location. Wi-Fi worked well and TVs are streaming only with your own sign-ins. Less than 10 mins from a large grocery store but you will feel like you are far away from civilization. There is a cool trail through the desert accessed just south of the property great for running, walking, biking. Lots of wildlife, birds, and amazing night-sky watching awaits you here. Everyone loved our stay at the Desert Z!
