Room was clean, mattress was clean, water pressure was amazing. Breakfast offered hot food not just cereal. The breakfast equipment could use an upgrade but overall we were very happy.

They had waffles, hot eggs, sausage and country potatoes. The proximity to the Interstate, as well as the busy highway that went in front of the hotel, both had unbearable road noise. I use earplugs to sleep, I had no trouble because I was exhausted from a long drive. Plan accordingly for road noise, LOUD road noise.

Room large and clean with a dining table and 2 chairs. Bed firm and comfortable. Very “pet” amenable. On a busy street, but has sidewalks. Adjacent residential area that is good for a quiet walkabout. Plenty of fast food dining nearby, but for good coffee and food, head downtown for old route 66.

The room was clean and had the basics, most at least. I found it interesting that wash cloths were not in the room. Most disconcerting is that the toilet seat was broken. There was an issue that when you sat down, the back of the seat and come unhinged and slide. I was able to grab the side of the tub to keep from falling. My husband was not so lucky when he used it. There is no way you could lift the seat without it coming off so I can’t belief housekeeping did not have to deal with it every time they cleaned it. Parking lot very small, right on the road but once I went to bed I slept well. The lobby is about 10x10 and that is where the breakfast was served. There was a sign that said “we recommend that you take your breakfast to your room to eat but you can eat in the lobby if you like.” Clearly they know the space is tiny. There were roughly 12 guests mulling around this tiny room to get their breakfast and two small table. It was free. All in all, okay but the toilet ticked me off as it is a hazard.

Not sure what the room looks like as I never checked in. After waiting 40 minutes at the reception ringing the bell and calling the hotel, I called 911 for a wellness check. The police came and found the receptionist on the second floor changing a diaper. By that time an hour had passed and I booked another room to another hotel nearby. No apologies was given, no explanaition, just he didn't hear the bell.

I avoid hotels that have the room doors on the outside (like motels do) like the plague. I find them to be a security risk. Unfortunately that is really all there is in the area unless you want to pay double. So we took a chance and I am glad we did. The roo. Was spacious and clean. We did hear a lot of street noise but it didnt bother us, if thats a concern for you its probably quieter in the back of the building. All in all this is a solid choice.
