Beautiful getaway
This place exceeded our expectations. As advertised. We were a family of four, two young adults, a mom, and grandmother. We had a wonderful stay for the most part. Upon arrival in Cancun, we grabbed our car rental, and decided to stop in Playa Del Carmen at the Walmart for groceries. That's about halfway to the condo. The next day was overcast so we went into the village of Tulum and enjoyed the many many shops with beautiful souvenirs and such. Restaurants are great too. FYI: The food carts by the AKI supermarket have the best tacos etc... ranging from 30-90 pesos. It is important to note that at times we had a neighbour, and owner of a different unit who played loud music and could be very loud himself. Just ask your host about it, they will give reassurance. The security guards Fransisco and Noel were so good, so we felt safe at all times.There is EVERYTHING you need in this condo, bring water shoes though and a snorkel set, the snorkel sets in our unit were not in the best working condition, so we just went to the store 5 min walking distance and got our own. We enjoyed the cenoté 6 min away and hours of snorkelling right off the private beach. The kayaks were a beautiful addition for exploring the water and beaches. There are also four foldable beach chairs to use and a paddle board. There are many condos along the same road with a variety of beautiful restaurants and bars, with excellent service. A meal varied between 1100 pesos and 2500 (3 drinks) for 4 of us.
