What a fabulous place to stay

Llynfor is a truly fantastic place to stay. Everything thought of to make your stay comfortable. Great location, fabulous property, exceptionally clean, there was everything you needed in the property and more ! Children are exceptionally catered for too and dogs ! A special gem of a holiday cottage and one we will definitely be returning to

To sum up - on the second day I was sat outside with my six year old grandson and I asked him what he thought of the house and location, his reply was - it was everything he could have wanted the same answer applied to all of us

Simply the best

We had a wonderful family gathering at the most superb place, it surpassed all our expectations. The space available meant we could all find something to do, whether this was in the hot tub, reading quietly, playing football in the grounds - the options were there. The rooms were all beautifully appointed with high end fixtures and fittings. We’ve all said we will be back. Many thanks to the team at Oyster for answering my never ending questions!!

Beautiful house in beautiful location

The house is amazing. Everything you could possibly need is at hand in the kitchen. Great entertainment area outside and as we were blessed with great weather we spent a lot of time outdoors. Only drawback is that as the kitchen had no blinds or curtains it got very warm by the end of the day. The living room has the comfiest sofas and large enough to accommodate all ten of us. All the bedrooms are lovely but the master bedroom is outstanding with a great balcony and views. We will definitely be returning.

Great stay!

Had an amazing week. Beautiful property, fabulous views, Shame about the weather but can’t be helped. Absolutely everything you would need to cater for a large group. Hot tub only got used a couple of times but report back was one of the nicest tubs we’d had in all the properties we’ve rented. Customer service started off ok with directions sent promptly (with photos) to property very precise and very helpful. Next email sent ….. no response or reply. But not a big issue. Went in on storm Amy. Patio doors in main (FABULOUS) bedroom blown off runners but a very quick phone call to James, was sorted promptly within an hour on Saturday and was repaired on Monday. Great service. The question we always ask all of us …. Would we go back to property? Resounding YES!! First time response after renting at least a dozen properties ❤️

Review of our weekend stay

Overall we were very happy with this property. There were a few niggles I had emailed prior to going asking about coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. I was told there would be some left but when we arrived there were none which was disappointing. If you advertise these machines you should provide the pods as these are not things you can just buy at the supermarket. There was a drainage smell in the master bedroom and we couldn’t get that velux window to open so that didn’t help. The oven and trays were not clean which again was disappointing. That said the house was lovely and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful and it wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Absolutely stunning

We have stayed in many properties as we don’t travel abroad with having a dog. This property is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in, there was only 1 property we always go back to but now we have another. Our family come for the weekend and some friends stay on for an extra day then it’s just the three of us. There was everything you could ever need without leaving! My Grandson thought it was the “greatest place” he has his own play area, football goals, loads of outdoor toys and a cupboard full in the house too, he was spoilt for choice, then him and our dog running around the 1.5 acres was something special to watch. The house itself is incredible, the master bedroom blew us away. We could see the RAF runway from the balcony and loved seeing the planes and jets. There isn’t anything the owners haven’t thought of, the kitchen is so well equipped I could have baked a cake. I wish we’d found the property sooner, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended for large groups there is so much space, me and the girls were in the kitchen and the boys were watching F1 in the lounge. Absolutely fabulous holiday came home thoroughly relaxed.

What a beautiful house

When we arrived at Llynfor, the house was welcoming and spotlessly clean. The house was packed full of everything you need for a luxurious stay. The hot tub was excellent. The beds were super comfy. There were plenty of games to keep everyone occupied and some lovely walks to the nearby pub. Very well equipped for a large group. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely house, great grounds, fantastic location. 4 generations stayed here very comfortably even though we had 2 days of horrendous rain. House wants for nothing. Slight issues we had were promptly addressed by Oyster.

A place to relax and savour time with loved ones

The house had a large garden and a fenced off play area. We walked around the grounds in the evening, enjoying the views and listening to birds. Two members of our family group of 7 painted the views to good effect. There were lovely sunsets to be seen from the master bedroom. We enjoyed our meals together with plenty of everything. We watched Wimbledon and the Euros on a huge screen, which was exciting. There were plenty of games to play. Our stay was very special and we are thankful that Llynfor made this possible.

Llynfor stay

Llynfor is a wonderful modern house with fantastic views over to Rhosneigr and the dunes. All the mod cons you could need for comfort and entertainment were provided, the hot tub was one of our favorites. The nice easy walk to the beach and restaurants/bars like the oyster catcher were an added bonus. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Llynfor for a large family getaway on the beautiful island of Anglesey! However, communication with staff at Oyster Cottage Holidays is an area that needed improving to make the stay at Llynfor a true 5 star experience. It felt like we had to chase information before arrival and even though they did arrange for a couple of issues to be fixed, or attempted to be, we were not updated with engineer arrival times…resulting in an engineer arriving before 7am one day! Just a shame this area was not to such a high standard of the house or an apology shared.
