Nice stay on Tybee

Overall, this was a pleasant first trip to Tybee island. The condo was very nice and provided a relaxing, clean space for our family vacation. The kitchen is a little smaller than what we are used to and we like to cook as a family. However, that would not keep us from considering renting this space again. The walk to the beach is a little further than we expected but that is mostly because the beach at this end of the island is quite vast compared to other beaches we have been to. The positive side of this is that you have plenty of personal space on the beach. I would definitely recommend this rental to others and would consider staying here again.

Bit of paradise!

We really enjoyed the condo. It was clean and very comfy. I think the drain in the front bathroom shower needs to have the drain cleaned. It was slow in emptying. Otherwise everything was just lovely.

Clean, Beautiful condo!

Very clean and nice. We mostly sat on the porch and watched the ships. Bring your own salt and pepper and spices if you're going to cook. Also, if you drive a large truck like us, plan on parking by the pool. The parking space is to small for a large vehicle.

Great weekend getaway!

Condo This condo was a great fit for all of my family ranging from 4 to 86! It had everything we needed to prepare meals and relax comfortably and it was very clean. We loved hanging out on the patio and taking in the beautiful ocean view! Access to the beach was very close and easy to get to. The elevator and rolling luggage cart were a plus! We enjoyed the pool and meeting the friendly property manager and other residents/guests. Check in and check out was a breeze. We had great access to restaurants, etc. We didn't have any maintenance issues. I rated a 4 for cleanliness because the couch and one pillow sham each had a small rip and there was a very small panel missing off of the kitchen cabinet under the sink. The one thing we didn't like was the narrow parking space, but we got used to it. Management We stayed here after hurricane Helene hit and had questions throughout our day of travel about conditions at the condo. Southern Belle Management was quick to respond to each text and answered all of our questions in a friendly and timely manner. Great place!

Room was very clean and comfortable. Great view, loved watching the boats. Only downside is the location of the pool for guests. I guess the pool at the condo is only for owners. The guest pool is near the public beach, so you have to drive, and it looked like there were only couple of parking spaces. Other than that, it was awesome.

Calming visit

Our condo was just as shown. Very clean Unfortunately our dryer broke last evening of our stay Since we are in our 70’s on 3rd and elevator going out was a little hard. But we would definetly rent again

Great stay.

We had a great time on Tybee Island. The property is right on the beach, so it was the perfect escape from the winter weather that we were looking for. Tybee Island had a laid-back personality, and the North Beach area (where this property is located) was very quiet.

Best location and newly remodeled

Ignore the old reviews saying it's outdated - not true. It's clearly recently been remodeled and has all new furniture and decorations and flooring. It's got an ocean view, and it's also really close to the pools. It's also the best location on the island - we went downtown Tybee once - I wasn't impressed for a number of reasons, so we were really happy with this condo's location. Minutes from downtown, minutes from Savannah, but off the beaten path enough so as not to be overcrowded. The beach is really nice as well, and not too long of a walk. This condo also seemed to be better stocked than most that we've stayed at.

Good Property

The stay was good, unit was clean, and everything worked as expected. The elevators didn't work during our stay, so we were pleasantly surprised that a middle-floor unit didn't have any noise from above and very glad to only walk up 2 flights of stairs.

Excellent property. Contact with property mgmt outstanding. Both bulbs in kitchen overhead light were out. I replaced with spares in pantry. Both bulbs in master bedroom overhead light & one overhead bulb in front bedroom were also out. No replacements. 1 dead roach behind lamp near sliding glass door in den. View outstanding, beds very comfortable. All appliances worked. Excellent water pressure. Excellent HVAC. Would stay again!

Very comfortable and clean in a lovely location

We stayed over Thanksgiving with our kids aged 11-15 and enjoyed ourselves very much. The condo was spotless and comfortable and very well stocked with everything we could need. The location was wonderful and quiet. My husband loved ship spotting from the balcony. The pool wasn’t heated as described but we enjoyed cold dips in the sea. We would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful ocean view and great stay

Captain Jack Sparrow was a great place for us to enjoy Tybee Island. Directions and Check in instructions were concise and easy to follow. Condo had everything we needed (the balcony was great!) Would definitely stay there again. Having an ocean view and watching the cargo ships were a definite plus The north side of Tybee Island is a great part of the island. It's quieter and it's an easy drive to Savannah.

Just OK

It was our first time at Tybee Island. The unit was acceptable. The development was older, but kept up. The unit had a couch that should be replaced. There were a few basic starter supplies, but no personal touches that many VRBOs add. No starter of laundry detergent. Some minor plumbing issues. Coming from out of town via air, we had hoped for chairs and beach umbrellas. Three of the 5 were broken, and the umbrella would not have stood up to a breeze. The management company was very good, quick to respond and answer questions. Beach was wide, not crowded, but can't say that the water there was very inviting, probably due to being very close to the mouth of the river. Convenient to Savannah. Beds were comfy. Pool area was very nice. All in all, would not stay there again, and certainly never in the high season. The plus was that there were no crowds.

Lovely stay on Tybee!

The listing did not do the condo justice! It has a wonderful view from the balcony, living room, and owner's suite. It is decorated and furnished in a contemporary and comfortable way! It was clean and well-appointed. It had everything we needed! The condo has great access to the beach, and they had chairs and umbrellas available which were super helpful in the heat! We sent a few repairs that needed to be made, and the rental company was quick to respond.

Great spot for a family getaway

We had a great time at Jack the Sparrow! The unit was clean and nicely decorated. The pool area was awesome and there is great beach access. We loved the view from the back deck! The only issue was no dressers for our clothes! We just had to live out of our suitcases which was kind of a bummer. I suggest they add a dresser to each bedroom. Overall a wonderful unit and property! We would love to come back!
