There was no beach view. Actually the living area looked directly onto the walkway so people were constantly walking right in front and looking in. I kept the drapes closed. Unfortunately that gave it a dark feeling. Check in instructions were not correct. Gate was up all the time. No idea where the box with the gate pass was or who to see about it. There is no direction for parking or which section to go up to find the appropriate hallway. It was clean and nice. Kitchen was sparsely supplied. Lids and pots did not match (sizes).

Family trip to Tybee

This location is a nice spot on Tybee Island. The pool is wonderful and the access to the beach is fantastic!The place is exactly as it looks in pictures. It is dated, but clean. It fit what we needed with low price and location.

Overall - the stay was fine. The gate to the property broke on Sunday - and they didn't fix it until Tuesday or Wednesday. And there was a water leak that started late Monday night in the ceiling of the bathroom. We called the 24-hr number, but I don't think anyone responded. We were out all day on Tuesday in Savannah, but we called again on Tuesday when we got back to the rental and someone came out that night. But we had to set out pans to catch the water that was dripping.

Good location. Beautiful beach nearby. Walls and ceilings dusty and had cobwebs. Linens smelled of mildew in places. Right size. Good price. Our door code deactivated midway through our stay.stay.stay. Not wheelchair or walker accessible. handicapped acvessible

My stay

It was just so amazing , thought our sons found a glitch in the door lock. If you were to put 000- etc till the rest of the digest but random, it would unlock sometimes with the wrong code.

My Stay

This property needs a major upgrade. The bed was was very worn and uncomfortable. The couch is so old it was not even comfortable to sit on and almost impossable to turn into bed. The TV is very small aned old. We could not even get a picture the first night. The next morning I remembered my TV at home had to be on channel 3. This solved the problem. There was no chair in the room to sit. The only saving grace was the cost of the unit was very reasonable but the quality of the unit reflected that.

The property was gated and steps from a private beach. The room was fine. Property was dark in the parking lot at night. The pool was dirty/had mold all around broken tiles and down the sides. I couldn’t stand or sit near the edges because it was everywhere.

DON'T rest through Vacasa

I have rented using VRBO several times a year, this is the first time a second party company was involved. The second party is Vacasa. I will NEVER rent from them again & you shouldn't either! I received several emails & text from different numbers with directions on how to enter the condo, but no directions on how to get through the gate, where the condo was located or how to obtain the keys. We arrived after dark after a four hour drive and had to immediately call the local customer service because the directions were so poorly written. "Mandy" never answered and her voice mail says to "leave a message", but her mailbox is full so you can't. So that was pointless. I called the 1-800 customer service who was not local, he read to me the exact text I was given. I can read texts and email. I need to know how to get through the gate onto the property. Finally, after wandering around in the dark I found the condo & using the PIN (four attempts later) was able to get into the condo. After looking around the condo, what did I find on the back of the door? the directions for the lock boxes located outside the gate with the gate key card and condo door keys. WOW, that information would have been nice in the text or emails you sent.Forty minutes later we were finally able to get inside. I opened the binder which stated we needed to place the parking permit on our dash. There was no parking permit anywhere. I called customer service again & there was nothing they could do. I took a piece of notebook paper and made my own so I wouldn't be towed.The internet & television weren't working. I followed all the directions in the binder, but nothing worked. Again, I called one of the eight (that's right there were EIGHT) customer service phone numbers given to me. I attempted another local number, received a different females' voicemail and left a message. She NEVER called back. The next morning while looking around, what did I find?! A set of light switches hidden by the patio curtains. One of which was labeled "TV". Upon flipping it on the power came on to the TV & the Internet modem. Nowhere is this written or pictures provided. Again we figured it out ourselves. Although we had power to the TV we tried every possible combination and NEVER got the TV to work and no one from customer service called us back. Glad we didn't have a real emergency. As a 28 year Air Force veteran your directions & organization are some of the worst I've ever seen!

Nice but alot smaller than it seemed in the pictures.

It started bad, by me not receiving the necessary checkin email with codes, I had an email with codes just not the right ones. Then the buildings are not marked so it took a min for us to find our condo. Insects were aweful in the foyer, multiple bites just trying to get in our door. Condo was clean to the eye but the closets were a huge mess. Tybee was nice but I will plan to stay somewhere else next time, I was told handicap access but many steps to get down to the beach, no handicap access to beach and one ramp to get in condo building.

Exactly as described

The accommodations were exactly as described and expected. The building is a little older than some in the island and with age comes minor issues, but a realistic person knows to expect that. By issues, I mean, a few cracked tile, some sloppy paint here and there, and thin walls. But the condo was spotless, plenty of towels, hot shower, and the linens were crisp. Cant ask for much more.

Never again

Roach in kitchen, paint peeling off bathroom wall, drapes in living area dirty. Bedroom too small to put suitcases in. Counter tops were tile so we felt we couldn’t sanitize them well. Couldn’t reach dishes unless you were at least 5’ 6”. No step stool to get dishes. No pantry to put food in so we had to leave food we bought on the counter to eat on. Only a couch in the living area even the picture showed a rocking chair also. Bathrooms vanity was way too small. No restaurants within walking distance. Need a paint job.

The proximity of the beach. The pool clear and clean for the ones who weren't find of the ocean swimming. The check in process was a headache and a hassell. Nothing seemed to go smoothly. Entering or leaving the property was more of a annoyance. No matter whom you called they couldn't help you or was just u aware of what was needed. Supposed to be cods for the key box and)or the unit door, none of the emailed codes worked. The key wasn't even in the coded box anyway. It was brought by a cleaner to the outside parking where we waited for almost a hour. A code is given in case the gate key isn't working. When the key card for the drive through gate quit working, the code given didn't work and when contacted to get another code the company I booked through was unaware such a gate was on the property and I was told there wasn't a access code either, use the key or nothing. Once they did call back another renter let me through. On the call I was told I'd have to park outside the gate an walk and pack all my stuff because a new one couldn't be given til the next day. In the end that didn't work because the code to the key box didn't work so a exchange of keys couldn't be made. No management or workers to help on site at all. I wasn't alone with these issues. I heard and spoke with other guests experiencing the same problems.

Spring break 2021

The location was great. The private beach was a plus. There was a funny smell when we first entered the property that went away after we opened the balcony door for a bit. It would have been nice if the hot water tank was turned on for our arrival. The laundry is a coin operated machine. I sent an email that was never responded too. But all minor things in the big picture.

Perfect for a quick getaway

I stayed for just a quick weekend mini-break. I loved being able to walk to the beach and watch the sunset. It was also a convenient bike ride to the light house museum. Overall, a great stay.

A little outdated unit and no hot water. Shortened our stay

The key box was broken when we arrived. There was a smell in the unit so we sprayed air freshener. The bottom lock on the door did not lock or unlock so only the deadbolt lock worked. The cable box cord had a short so the tv wouldn’t come on with a picture (we solved the issue) and when we went too shower (NO HOT WATER!!!). We ran the water in the sinks and tub and the water never heated.
