"This property is very clean & beautiful. We stayed in the Seraya villa which was very private with a gorgeous jungle view. The pool & patio area were great! The staff was very accommodating & we had a yummy breakfast delivered to our villa. The gym was nice with the jungle view. There is nothing within walking distance so you will need to hire a driver. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay. "

"Villa is stunning but in a very remote village about 15mins by car from central ubud. The villa staff had very little english so you will need google translate for effective communication. Stock up on supplies beforehand as access in the village is limited. There are no taxis in ubud and the inclines are steep and uneven underfoot so walking is adventurous.
We discovered Venya resort next door after the first day and used their restaurant twice as the villas has breakfast but no lunch or...

"The staff are friendly and generous with their time. Relaxing Villa, interesting wildlife around, forest sounds, local activities close by.
Pool is refreshing - maybe bring floaties for younger kids as the pool doesn’t have a shallow end (although we forgot to bring any and our kids have become much stronger swimmers in the few days we have been here!)
Big fans of Gede and the team. He escorted us to the local waterfall and has great suggestions for activities in the area.

"Lovely stay at Mathura Hotel in Ubud. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and attentive staff, and a peaceful atmosphere. Great value for money and a perfect base for exploring Ubud. Would happily stay again."
