“The staff are friendly and generous with their time. Relaxing Villa, interesting wildlife around, forest sounds, local activities close by. Pool is refreshing - maybe bring floaties for younger kids as the pool doesn’t have a shallow end (although we forgot to bring any and our kids have become much stronger swimmers in the few days we have been here!) “Stayed in Villa Ayana. Clean and modern - but they are relatively new villas. I do hope they keep them maintained. Has everything you need. Water pressure was a little alarming at first but it just takes a while before the pressure kicks in. My advice, start the shower and then brush your teeth while you wait. It will seem ok at first and go to a drizzle and then the pressure comes back. Staff are wonderful, helpful and attentive. When our son had a fever and we required a doctor, they contacted……

The offered room service from 730am-2130 pm, which was a huge benefit especially since we were up very early for a few tours and not interested in going to a restaurant. The Villa was beautiful and private and located in a quiet neighborhood. I hour from the airport and 20 minutes to downtown center. Our hosts make our trip to Bali very special and if the opportunity arrives, we will stay there again.”

“Villa is stunning but in a very remote village about 15mins by car from central ubud. The villa staff had very little english so you will need google translate for effective communication. Stock up on supplies beforehand as access in the village is limited. There are no taxis in ubud and the inclines are steep and uneven underfoot so walking is adventurous. We discovered Venya resort next door after the first day and used their restaurant twice as the villas has breakfast but no lunch or……
