"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "We had the best time! The owner’s restaurant was only 5mins walks from the villa! Staff were respectful and lovely! Welcoming smile and the owner! Amazing human! The rooms were clean! You get fresh water. Scooter available to rent on the spot for great price! Overall 100/10! Also the pictures don’t do it justice it more beautiful ❤️ "

"We enjoyed every moment of 6 day stay in this 2 bedroom villa. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Even when we arrived earlier than expected they gave us access to a smaller room to rest up until our room was ready . The room service menu options were delicious. The villa was beautiful!!!! I wish the jacuzzi got hot but i guess it wasn’t mean to be a jacuzzi lol So don’t be too surprised that it’s the same temperature as the pool. Many other reviews mentioned the bugs, lizards ,...

"A superb hotel, right on the beach & a short stroll to the Restuarants. All the staff are so helpful. A great idea with the beds on the beach that no reservations can be done so no hogging unused beds if left unattended for 45-60 minutes. 👍 The food and service was impeccable. We loved it here 10/10"
