“It was really disappointing stay. Fits of all there was no 24/7 reception even I have arrived almost at check in time. The manager finally arrived in 30 minutes after I have asked neighbor hotel to call him. When he arrived, he was aggressive and insist on my cancelation when I refused he called me POOR, never apologized and I felt super unsafe leaving my stuff there and staying over night there. But it was not over, then hotel employee came at 8am in the morning an asked me to get out……

“Our stay was amazing at the bungalow! Things just to keep in mind is you are in the middle of the jungle so we did find a lot of ants in our room and some other bugs but nothing that overly affected us. Other than that the rooms were in tip top shape and the staff was amazing. It is on a mountain so ask the receptionist about delivering food, it wasn’t overly expensive as well. They brought dinner and breakfast right to your door and we’re so kind. Would definitely stay again!! :)”

However, there is something living in the wall and I could hear it running around at night and making vocal noises - I’m not sure what kind of animal it was but it was very loud, woke me up more than once. “Meket Bungalows was an absolute Gem!! Everything was immaculate…Wonderful infinity pool with a sunset view. Big rooms, comfortable beds & great rain shower! Breakfast is even included, & close walk to a few restaurants. The Grounds were beautiful & the Beer was Cheap. We had one issue with cockroaches in the shower when we arrived, but told hotel staff & they attended to the issue & we never saw them again, so still give it 5 Stars!”
