「The location and layout cozy and warm. The odor of the water and bathroom like sulfer.Coffee seemed old pot did not work right.Could not get hot water for a shower either.」

「Beautiful place tucked back in the woods. Very relaxing and incredibly clean. The free coffee was a nice touch too. Will 100% be returning to The Gunks because of this house. 」

「Beautiful property filled with interesting books and lovely decor. Owners greeted us upon arrival. Wish the furniture (bed, couch) was a bit more comfortable with black out shades in the bedroom. Otherwise, very nice place. 」

「Loved this cozy space -from all windows you can see trees( it was fall so foliage in full effect). The space was extremely clean, well appointed and laid out and super cozy. I was in Germantown for a weekend yoga event at Jai’s Yoga Shala which was in walking distance. Also took a trip to Hudson. I will certainly be back here again and would recommend this lovely oasis. The hosts were extremely friendly and though they live next door, I had my private space 」

「After staying 2 nights at the Zen cottage in Gardiner (same host), I decided to stay an extra night, but only this location was available, so I booked. I walked in to a very tidy beautiful space, albeit a lot less work went into restoring this space compared to the prior, furniture definitely not as cozy. The blanket covering the boarded up door (in the sauna room) had a very large nail sticking out, luckily I saw it before bumping into. I did notice some foul smells around the fire place, I...
