The ugly: Room had quite a bit of wear and tear. The smell of other guests smoking nearby was really strong and unpleasant. Noisy guests kept us awake over a couple of nights.」
「Great value for money and in a great spot within town, with a delicious Wedangan Pendopo Javanese restaurant nearby and many cafes within walking distance. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again if I return to Solo. 」
「Liked: Friendly staff. Early check-in. Good location (local bus direct to centre and to Balapan station). English-language channels on the TV. Breakfast included (although mostly Indonesian food).
Disliked: The standard room was quite small and had no kettle or fridge. There was also no "no smoking" option with the standard room.」
