「I stay here every time I come to Sarasota. Love the place and the price. Pretty good breakfast, and gorgeous lounge. My only complaint is that I’ve seen people smoking at the pool area every single time that I’ve been here. I have to little kids and I did not like exposing them to that. Staff is quick to get everyone out of the pool at 9 pm sharp, maybe be more sharp and walk around during the day too :) 」

「The hotel is old and they are in the process of remodeling the rooms, the room we had on the first floor is outdated but quite clean. The bedrooms were comfortable and the gentleman who checked us in was very accommodating. I would stay here again !!」

「This is a great place to stay for a couple; the house is small but cozy. We really enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying here again. This is more like a 4.5 star rating. There were a few things that kept this from being a 5 star review: bathroom shower was incredibly small. Also the towel rack needed to be screwed in tighter, it was starting to come off the wall. Bathroom could also use a new paint job. The coffeemaker likely needs replacing..the inside of the reservoir looked pretty bad....

The wildlife, El Toro Bravo, Trader Joe's, Mellow Mushroom, Sunday drum circle at sunset, Oscar Sherer State Park, Sarasota Village (Gidgets, Orange Octopus, Casa Smeralda, the Roman organic Gelato place to name a few of the fabulous places), beaches, etc. made this a wonderful stay in this area. This cottage was like a relaxing & welcoming place to go...
