Review

First night we arrived, the house was overall very clean until we entered one bedroom. It had a mouse and dead bugs on the bedsheet. We reached out to the Vacasa team to enter the property but they never did. Other than that it was a great spot and location.

Enjoyed Vail

Property was as listed. Well stocked with towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Electronic door worked as it should. We used the free Vail shuttle one of the two days and it was appreciated. The colors were popping on our visit in late Sept. Hot tub worked well but only downside (not for us though as room not used) was that you needed to use a lower lever bedroom patio door to reach the hot tub. Minor issue though. Would I rent again...Yes!

Worst management from Vacasa folks

- Lack of clean dishes - lack of overall cleanliness - No TV channels - multiple times different guys came to fix heater, fan. They could have scheduled when the guests are not there.

No window screens :(

The rental was large and spacious. It worked very well for our large party of 11. The biggest issue was the bugs. As stated in the listing, there is no AC, which was fine. But if you’re not going to have an air conditioning unit in the home, then you should at least have window screens on the windows. When we arrived to the rental, there were so many tiny moths all around the house and throughout the weekend, we didn’t want to open up any of windows and make the situation worse. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Needs a lot of work

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures are strategically taken as the property is in very poor condition. From ripped carpets, no screens on the windows, rotting wood decks, mold in the main level shower, mold and mildew in the lower level and squishy carpets from standing water to dirty kitchen and tables... this property needs significant maintenance. The property management company was fast to bring drying fans and fix smaller issues which is why they got a 5. We cannot recommend staying here - very disappointed!

Mountain retreat with great views inside and out

Beautiful Mountain View’s inside and out. Lovely walks/ hikes right out doorstep. Easy access to Vail Village shopping , gardens other activities by bus or car. House fully equipped for home cooking and accommodates large families easily.

Perfect base for Vail explanation

The house is light, open and perfect for a group. The house has two open levels, one with living room and the connecting level with well equipped kitchen, dinning and sitting. All just minutes to Vail village.

Nice but could use some updating

This place has been around awhile and needs major updating. Would I stay again, yes but just understand that it is not new. Also, the walk to the bus is just too long particularly is ski boots. There is a parking lot though to park your car there and then take the bus. We just ended up driving to Vail to ski as the bus took so long.

Wonderful Mountain Weekend

We rented this house as a group of friends and it was amazing. The location is perfect and very close to town. The house was clean and the hot tub was a great addition. Would definitely rent this house again!

Pretty Much as Expected

The place is as advertised. Its a great price for a 5 bedroom/12 occupancy place. Getting to Gondola 1 via the bus is easy, it's just a bit tiring to walk up the hill to the house after a day of skiing. The mattresses are not comfortable, but you can tell that from the pics, so this wasn't really a surprise. The reduction of one star (vs expectations) was the cleanliness. Tables, counters and all surfaces were dirty and/or sticky. The furniture is in need of a deep clean.

Perfect for Groups - Plenty of Beds

We were a group of 10 adults and this property was perfect. Having 5 bedrooms gave everyone the privacy they wanted and the layout of the house was great. The hot tub was fantastic, especially after a long day of riding. Absolutely great ski house and I would seek it out again when returning to Vail.

Great place for a fantastic Vail vacation

Between dropping off and use if the vail bus system, it was very convenient. The house itself was clean and comfortable, and created a great space for us all to be together. The team at Gore Creek properties were very helpful by allowing early check in and late checkout to the degree possible, which was extremely helpful given our flight times. I would recommend this house and the team at Gore Creek in the future.

Fantastic location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had plenty of space, great location with easy access to Vail and Beaver Creek. The place had a few outlets that didn't work, the motor in the garage door seemed to be broken and the furniture is pretty frayed. However, we let the management company know and they were very willing to try to get these things fixed. If updates are made, we would definitely stay here again next year!
