"The architecture is stunning. We had a spa day at Marengo Spa located in the property, and had a tasty breakfast at the 1890 restaurant. Rooms were clean and nice, bathroom was well-equipped and we appreciated the free coffee in the room. Hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do: Playhouse Square, shops and restaurants. We would stay again! "

"Great Breakfast, scrambled eggs were hot and cooked perfect, not runny. Ham egg and cheese crossaintwich, one of favorites, a rare find on a hotel bfast buffet. Would have liked bacon or homefries but overall, LOVED IT. Huge rooms full kitchen, best location for rocket arena and jacks casino both 2 to 5 minute walks, super close."

"The location is nice and room is fine. The room: no hooks for towels, loud noise very early in the morning, the elevator, hallway and room smell like weed. We stayed one night so we tough it out but it should not have to be that way. Customer service: very poor, check in rep wasn't friendly and the next morning we asked about breakfast, she said that we had to pay which we weren’t aware of. When we check in the rep was not friendly and did not inform us anything. She did not do anything for us so we did not have breakfast at the hotel which was disappointing. We would not stay at this hotel again. No one was willing to assist us and at least try to make it right so we would consider coming back next time to give it a second chance. "
