「The landscape after the window is opened is beautiful like a painting, you can see the train, bridge, snow, mountains, and boats. The pool is great and the hot pool is nice. The downside is that you can hear footsteps from upstairs on the lower floors.」

「The trails close by are perfct to go on with my kids. They can be kind of steep so be prepared to carry the little ones at times. The kitchen has all the utensils needed to cook. Its a small and cozy lodge with plenty of space for large groups. The Tavern has some really good dining options with friendly staff. 」

「Gretchen and Chris are amazing hosts! They are so friendly, full of information to share and suggestions for the area, and make you feel at home. Their property is beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I toured around Oregon for 10 days and this was my favorite stay!」

「Older hotel but all class. It feels like stepping back in time. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful like a park. Well maintained. And for the price seems like you are being treated to a special experience for not very much money.」

「Courteous front desk staff. Room has been recently updated, was clean, and comfortable. Pool water is crystal clear and didn’t stink of chlorine like many other places ( they do a good job maintaining the pool water). Unfortunately the spa’s still broken. Would recommend based on our experience ( February 2026)」
