“First of all i rented 2 rooms the elevators were down and I have bad knees and had to walk up the stairs one of the rooms didn't have shower curtain”

“So bad reviews were maybe accurate but it's better now and improving. More renovated rooms but not all of them yet. I opted for an older pre-renovated room. River view definitely better at the Grand Hotel but yes you can see it. Room was very clean; older furniture but not chewed. New carpet in hallways, so they are working it. Not quite the boutique hotel advertised but given some time they'll get there. I think the bar may be operational. A working kitchen would be great. Tables and space are……

“Bend a bit for travelers arriving early. I'm on a motorcycle riding early to minimize exposure to intense afternoon late-July heat and sun. Was told the check-in time, 3:00 was not negotiable. No heads-up on when a room might be ready. "Come back then." ”

“I had a nice size room. I made reservations for 2 queen beds. I had one queen bed and a pull out sofa. I requested a cot. It was after midnight after requesting a cot for the 2nd time that I finally got it. The breakfast was minimal. Overall everything was ok.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a beautiful view of the Mississippi river and having a pool there is definitely a pleasure during the summertime.”

“Our host, who doesn't live in the house, gave us free run of the place since no one else had rented the other bedroom. The place was comfortable but not updated. Our host was very pleasant and accommodating and we enjoyed visiting with her. She provided us with a nice breakfast using eggs from her own hens.”

“This place was an amazing place to stay. The staff was great and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this place to anyone who wants a romantic or quiet weekend getaway. We learned so much about the history in Mississippi and how Natchez, MS played a huge portion of Mississippi history. We learned that the Greg Iles books portrayed an accurate account of some of the real-life events that happened in that area.”

“Right in the heart of the historic district and close to everything. The hostess provided us with recommendations and made sure everything was as expected and needed.”

“I stayed at the Bridges Hotel. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was so nice and friendly. I got to play with the hotel mascot. Bridges is his name. When I plan another girls trip I will try to get the Bridge Hotel again.”
