If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn't the place. If you want to experience French hospitality in an authentic setting, i recommend WITHOUT RESERVATION. The owner was so nice snd accommodating and made great recommendations for restaurants that served only what was in season. In addition, they had their own "pop up" restaurant onsite. We had one of the best meals imaginable with a 4 course pre-fixed menu. Also central for visits to Nimes, Arles, Pont du Garde and other locals.

We had an unbelievable experience staying here. The property is gorgeous from the beautiful room, views of the city, quiet neighborhood and the pool in what felt like a “Secret Garden”. Folco was a kind and attentive host who went out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend!!

One of the best places I have stayed at in Europe! If you want a relaxing stay in an authentic, picturesque quaint French village, Maison Orsini is must! We had the best time ever! We found a gem!! Folco is the perfect host. Breakfast was wonderful, our room was amazing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It is like staying in a castle with the vaulted ceilings and ornate antique furniture but with all the modern amenities, including a pool. The view from the patio is breathtaking. Make sure you explore Villeneuve. The castle and Abbey are better than anything we saw in Avignon! Easy access to Avignon by bus. Amazing restaurants in Villeneuve but seasonal dining will be available on-site as of June 21st. If I could give Folco's beautiful home a 10 I would. Your search is done! Book it, you won't be disappointed.

This was by far our favorite stay on our trip to France. We traveled with two adults and two young adult children. We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for us. The ambiance of the house was wonderful! Folco was an exceptional host. I would highly recommend staying here if you are anywhere close by. We wish we could have stayed longer!

It’s a unique place with an operator that cares. The structure was built in the 1300’s and a delightful view. A very French vibe and intentionally chill. A perfect host to a very unusual property. Our apartment was clean with modern fixtures in a very old building. Breakfast was good and setting amazing in 14th century house. Villeneuve les Avignon a lovely small town with plenty of restaurants. Much calmer than main town over the river.

My wife and I (along with our dog) had a fabulous 10-night stay in a suite with a private terrace in April. The hotel benefits from being situated in the quieter location of Villeneuve, but still has plentiful restaurants, boulangeries and small shops that are only a short walk away. The hotel has the most tremendous views across to Avignon and the Popes’ Palace (along with distant views of Mont Ventoux) and sunsets across the historic city could be enjoyed from our private terrace or from the garden’s decked area. Breakfasts were fabulous with an extensive range of produce and the delicious breads and pastries were freshly sourced from the boulangerie in town. The hotel served as an ideal base for exploring Provence and Folco (the host) was super helpful with suggestions and advice about places to visit. If you like walking, we would recommend a visit to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. A small town built around the spring in a valley at the foot of the Vaucluse Mountains, it has numerous canal and ridge walks with stunning scenery. We really loved our stay at Maison Orsini and would recommend it as an ideal location for exploring this region. We would agree with some reviews that the hotel would benefit from a little sprucing up; however, please do not let this put you off staying at this charming hotel. Everything you need works really well and most of all, Folco is a super host who makes every effort to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Amazing views and service, beautiful old building!

We had a lovely stay at Maison Orsini! Stayed 5 nights as a home base while exploring the area. The innkeeper, Folco, was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. He knows the area well! The beds were comfy, shower was great, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and much-appreciated! (Folco makes great coffee and fresh-pressed orange juice every morning!) The views from our room of the river and the palace of the popes was unparalleled. Highly recommend!
