「This was a cute house. It was in a great location for our needs. There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as the beach. 」

「Location was great! Accommodations were comfortable. The only comment I have is that we had dealt with a lot of flies but wasn’t sure if this was due to the area. I’m from the west coast so not sure if flies are just in season but we had to kill many throughout our stay. Overall had a wonderful time and would recommend! 「I loved the location and the property was clean and the beds were comfortable.My only complaint was that the living room furniture was not comfortable at all, and 2 of the bedrooms didn't have a tv in them, but otherwise everything was excellent. I liked that there was a washer and dryer and they also supplied laundry detergent and even bleach, the linens were clean and so was the house. I would definitely rent again! 「Upon arrival the door code did not work so we had to use the garage code & luckily the house was unlocked so we could get inside. Then several appliances were not fully working or not working at all.The host answered in a very timely manor & worked to rectify our problems quickly. 「We had some trouble getting in as the code for the lower door was listed as one thing and then after awhile we were told the correct code. The house is nice and pretty inside. The problem was that we didn’t have hot water the first night and Saturday morning. The repair came in the morning and said that it had been turned off due to cold weather weeks before our visit. 「Overall, the location was convenient for visiting Newport News and Norfolk. The house was walkable to the farmers market at the city park and it was walkable to the beaches. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted could have used more towels. The floor was sticky and everybody’s white socks got dirty and a fly problem. Would consider renting again」
