“We had a glitch with the lock but the owner was quick to respond to my phone call to give us the combo for the manual key, which I appreciated very much. The second bed was very small, the removable shower head line was leaking badly. The stove top and oven were dirty and the fan was also dirty. There was no complimentary coffee. ”

“The property itself was clean and in a convenient location, but prospective guests should be aware that noise travels extremely easily throughout the building. We could clearly hear every footstep, running, and movement from the unit above us, especially early in the morning and late at night.The floor/ceiling construction appears to provide very little sound insulation, and the constant creaking and footsteps significantly impacted our ability to relax and sleep during our stay. “We enjoyed our stay at this clean, thoughtfully decorated, and conveniently located residence. It was somewhat difficult to find the first time due to all the cars parked on the road, making the driveway hard to find. However, once we found it, we were easily able to find our parking spot and get into the home thanks to the directions sent from Simone. The home is very cozy and we enjoyed our stay. We were thankful for the earplugs as the frogs are quite loud at night.”

“The property was exactly how it was described on the pictures. I loved the privacy from the back of the cottage. The house was clean and had all the necessary items for cooking. It was quiet and exactly what we were looking for. Very close to downtown and restaurants. The one downfall was the 20 stairs leading up to the cottage. I ended up injuring my knee at the beach on the last day of our trip and struggled getting up the stairs. But I had the honor to meet the owner of the property. She was……

“We, a family of 5, felt very comfortable at this location in Hilo. It was walking distance to a local pizza place, grocery store, farmers market, and even the beach. The house was very clean and the host has for sure thought about all the little things that a traveler would need for an extended stay. They had boogie boards, beach towels, a day trip cooler, not to mention the simple home amenities such as coffee, sandwich bags, fresh local cookies on check in, and even (my wife laughs at me……
