「Very quiet very warm」

「The room at the hotel was lovely very clean and the staff were amazing but the dining experience left a lot to be desired. We were advised to book for what was described as a carvery type meal which we did but could only get one slot at 6.30 so booed that. We decided as there was such a long wait to go to the Knights tavern for a drink first and we saw the food being served and it looked really good so we asked if we could cancel the buffet and order there which we did and paid for the meal....

「Nice location , price and ambiance BUT I had three simple questions when I checked in. The receptionist knew the answer to none of them ( had to check ) : would there be coffee in the morning ? Answer No, not til the restaurant opened at 830 am !!!( Old COFFEE Inn ?!? ). Was the restaurant still open ( closing at 8pm ...didn't know what they were serving ). Would the 8pm World Cup match be shown ? ( Mind you there was a sign out front advertising it ). NO, they only put the TV on for England...
