“What a gem in the heart of downtown The Dalles! Our room was spacious, quiet, exceptionally clean, a super comfy bed and had a stunning black and white tiled shower. Very cool! Although the hotel was finishing a big remodel, it did not disrupt our stay in any way. The staff was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I would rebook here in a heartbeat!”

“Very basic motel. Room was clean and modern, fridge and microwave worked. The building itself is looking worn and the exterior door didn't automatically close/lock. Mattresses were old and not very comfortable. Reasonable rates”

However the above guests had multiple children and it sounded like a herd of horses starting at 6 am, called the front desk to ask them to call the people above but they wouldn’t answer, the people continued and constantly opened and……

“This is not a place you would want to stay for more than one night. We put our crew up in this hotel for three nights for a local job and nobody was happy. They advertise a breakfast available, but each day our crew went to the “breakfast” area they were greeted by no more than 5 honeybun packaged pastries and some carafes of juices. The bathrooms and showers were not well cleaned, hot water was inconsistent, and there was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner provided. Only hand soap in a dispenser……
