“Construction made conditions terrible ”

“Room was clean and safe, but was devoid of even basic amenities: No hair dryer, no kitchenette items of any kind, no electric plug near the desk, no ice available in the building, no breakfast, only 3 small pillows [not enough for 2 people]. The inviting picture of the lobby on the Website is absolutely false.”

“This hotel is quite dated and I feel the ratings failed me this time. I think this hotel’s rating should be lower than 8. The bathroom vent wasn’t working so the steam build up irritated my wife while trying to get her hair done. It was hard finding a hotel in this area that has an excellent rating. Breakfast here was also subpar. And no coffee in the rooms either. ”

“Extremely filty room, rust and brown water came out of the shower every time it was first turned on, carpet sticky and smelly, half of the lights and the electrical outlets were not working or missing bulbs, air conditioner extremely noisy and did not cool room, all surfaces grimy and dirty. Missing TV remote and refrigerator was not working. Spiders appeared in the bathroom during the night. Several long term guest sit outside their rooms watching you go in and out of room as though they are……

“Cute cottages! This is a nice property. Modern and clean. Convenient and easy check-in. Looks very family friendly although we were on a quick girls trip to Round Top. The only thing to know is the lofts are not full height. Fine for kids, a little difficult for adults. But it served its purpose just fine. ”

“Quaint lodging with great attention to detail. It was easy to locate, easy to check in, and it had everything we needed. Little details like both plain and French vanilla coffee creamer (I’m not a big coffee drinker so I only partake if there’s flavored creamer), makeup removal wipes in the bathroom, an embroidered washcloth with my name (?!!?! WOW!!), and a spectacular fresh, homemade breakfast. The place was very clean and tidy, welcoming, and felt like a fantastic place to stay. Our stay was……

“Walter was an excellent host. The pastries and fresh fruit were a sweet and much appreciated touch. The best part of our stay was the quiet mornings on the back porch and the quiet evenings around the fire. The cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. It was centered between Brenham and Round Top which worked out perfect for our anniversary getaway and shopping trip. ”

“Second stay this year at this lovely property for Round Top Antiques Fair…quiet, peaceful, lovely in Spring with Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush…main cafe in town open at 0700 for breakfast (wonderful scones/coffee) …once in town there are many shops/restaurants within walking distance… short drive in the other direction gets you to the friendly vendors at Y Station….easy communication with host, Ashley…camper clean, spacious for two of us and check-in snacks provided…plan to stay here……
