「Nice place larger than it appears. 」

「Great overall stay. Couple of minor things could use improvement but enjoyed the tiny house. Needs a decent grill. Had to wait on access code.」

「We had a great stay! Check-in was easy, the fully equipped kitchen kept meals easy and we were far enough out of town for peace and quiet but close enough to be able to run grab a coffee and donuts」

「A beautiful countryside location. A calm and quiet Shouse. We enjoyed the stay and also got to enjoy Decorah during the day.」

「We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable home. We could feel the pride of ownership. All of the little touches made our stay just perfect, such as having great linens, snacks, coffee, working appliances and easy access in and out of the home and the driveway. We felt at home from the moment we walked in and we will be back!」

「It was a very nice property. Lots of attention to detail, cleanliness, appliances, seating and bedrooms. All great. We used it for family reunion to tube down Upper Iowa River.Nice patio and backyard. Not an easy place to take a walk directly from the property.」

「Good amount of room for the 7 of us and one dog」

「The barn lodge was a very nice place to stay. Hosts were very kind and even asked us before mowing the lawn behind the barn. We had plenty of room, and much peace & quiet. Made it easy to relax during our stay. The only problem with our stay was the town working on water mains and fire hydrants so the roads in town were all tore up. Made it hard to walk around and explore the town. Nothing the hosts can do about that. We made it work. 」

「This is such a cute home and the property is beautiful. Sometimes cute equals just ok, but not in this case. It's just so cute.The back porch is amazing and we spent a lot of time out there. The porch faces west, so we saw a couple of beautiful sunsets.There are some minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that detracted from us enjoying our stay.Would absolutely stay again.」
