“We had a great family weekend in Des Moines. The house is fantastic for a large group. Nice kitchen, dining and living areas. Plenty of bedrooms and nice bathrooms. The game room in the basement was super fun! Everyone had plenty of space and a great time! When we arrived the front door was open and two men were in the entryway with large equipment. They seem to have been repairing the kitchen floor. That was odd, and awkward, but it seemed fine. There was a layer of dust on every……

“This place was very unique! Great stay! Friendly hosts!! Cleaned our car off and shoveled the snow to the front stoop so it was cleaned when left! Also gave fresh eggs for breakfast!!!!!”

“I usually like to leave both positive comments and drawbacks. That would be difficult with this house. It’s perfect. We didn’t cook but the kitchen is well equipped. Everything is clean and shiny. Would definitely recommend.”

“Pleasant neighborhood, easy access to downtown. It was comfortable enough. This could be a phenomenal place with a little better housekeeping and attention to detail. It was very reasonably priced and I imagine a family would love the basement game room. The owner was responsive to text and email communication.Six lightbulbs were burned out. We had to scavenge bulbs and lamps from other rooms in order to have bedside lamps. I did not receive a welcome/instruction letter until after check-in……
