"We had a very comfortable overnight stay and enjoyed going out to the park across the street to check out the laughing men art installation. Overall we were impressed with the walkability of Vancouver as a whole, and would like to come back and stay a few days using the Sylvia as base. "The hotel included nice amenities such as afternoon happy hour, lots of art in the lobby and in the rooms (real art!) free bikes, little carafes in your room to get free still and bottled water, lots of towels, robes, safe, mini fridge. It was in a bustling location with tons of places to eat, convenience stores and coffee. It's about a 10 minute walk to the water front. I little longer to the metro or to the cruise port. "Some areas in the suite need attention carpets coming away from join in kitchen area. Disappointed our room wasn't ready when we booked in at about 3pm. Also the hotel restaurant wasn't open as shown in the hotel information."
