"This spot is a real gem, especially if you prioritize location and economy. It's a great place to meet interesting people, and very central, and I appreciated the full kitchen, lockers, and in-room fridges. How to put this next part bluntly, but honestly: the area surrounding the hostel is safe, but you will see open intravenous drug use. People are struggling, and that fact is on display. If the windows are open, you may hear people screaming at all hours. This isn't the Hostel, it's just our current reality."

"It was an amazing hotel, although room when checked in must have been facing west and a hot afternoon made the room too hot and hard to cool down to get ready for dinner! No products around the bath area for washing! Only available in shower. Breakfast server wasn't very attentive seated in glaring sun and waited long for any service and mid service. Although this may seem complaint entry the hotel was better than the fairmont in our opinion just needed some attention to detail on some things. We would gladly return."
Victoria Regent Waterfront Hotel & Suites

"Room 505 served us as there were three of us. The king bed felt like I was sleeping alone! So comfortable. The street and marine view was relaxing not only from our big windows but also from our balcony. All areas of the suite were very clean. One item I forgot to tell the staff were the carpet pins on exiting the balcony and also at the entrance of the kitchen. I knew to wear my indoor shoes. But I'm sure the staff will hammer these areas once reading this."
