“My husband had work in Grand Rapids so we decided to make a little trip of it, The place was perfect! Really feels special inside and super clean. Comfy covered outdoor seating and the hot tub was amazing! We made a day trip to Holland state park (40 min) and also went to the Lantern festival at the zoo. Lots of other things to do in the area. Hoping to get back!”

“This place exceeded my wildest expectations. The house looks little on the outside but it's huge inside! It's an old house junkie's dream, impeccably maintained and every choice from the wallpaper to the penny tiles was period perfect. I read in the guestbook that one of their guests actually grew up there, then came back for a visit, and thanked the host for giving the place a new life, how cool is that!?! The location is perfect and if we're ever in the area again, this will be our home base……

“We were looking for a quiet woodland retreat and found this place to be exactly that. The 3-season porch was wonderful. The furniture was comfortable. A wide variety of woodland birds and chipmunks came to the feeders close to the windows. The chipmunks were especially entertaining. A big thank you to the host for coming to refill the feeders. The addition of a large ground feeder soon attracted squirrels. The electric fireplace took off the chill, and we had fun changing the color of the……

“Probably one of the coziest VRBO stays we've had, this really did feel like a home away from home. My preteen loved the train line down the street (we came in on the Amtrak trains; it's a 10-15 minute walk to the actual station in town), but I don't recall ever hearing any train noise; it was a very quiet stay for us. I appreciated there being fans in every bedroom (the family loves the white noise and circulating air while sleeping). The host was incredibly responsive to every message I sent,……
