「This is an outstanding property in a quiet, picturesque part of Stoke-on-Trent (the village of Barlaston). Morgan at Reception on Tuesday afternoon 15/7/25 was fantastic… very helpful, very pleasant! Dinner was very nice…and the wait staff pleasant and efficient! Our room was well appointed and beds very comfortable, with a nice ensuite and shower. This property exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend this property! 「Had an amazing stay at the Woden. Great communication with Jay, clear instructions given as to how to check in. The hotel was spotless. My room, including bathroom was immaculate and super clean. What more could you want? I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. 」

「Came here for a wedding. Lovely statley home venue in the middle of a massive sports training campus. Every single member of staff I met was fantastic - they were so happy and really make this place. The grounds are well kept and gym was well equipped. Amazing breakfast too, in amoung all the sports teams training here.」

「Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. 「Riverside is based in an idyllic setting on the banks of the river Severn. There is a giant outdoor garden with lots of different areas so you can always find a spot to view the river. The accommodation was of a very high standard and the service and care by both the staff and management was incredible. We will certainly return.」

「A great place to stay with it's welcoming bar, smart appearance, spacious and clean rooms. Comfy bed & nice breakfast. Not sure about the bottled water in the room instead of a glass, next to the eco-towels sign.. But a great stay, a real pleasure to have been there overlooking the old railway station. Liked the train themed room names too.」
