“We were refused service at the restaurant, when we told staff we were willing to wait they said no point you probably won’t get a table. Then we asked if we could eat in our room and they said no. “This is a lovely hotel the only thing that let it down was the evening meal . Every night choices on the menu weren’t available. We stayed 5 nights and the evening meals were disappointing. We asked to speak to the chef and were told that all the meals came in frozen except the steak and didn’t resemble a rump steak it was shaped like a jenga brick and grossly we were offer gravy which we had to pay extra for and it only came with a few chips and rocket with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
