“Was able to upgrade to one of the cottages for our stay, which was great, loved being able to park our bikes right in front of our door. The guy at the front desk was super nice and very respectful of my time. Got me in and out at check in super quick.
The showers a little small, which was a little hard to get in as a larger person. Wish the walls were just a bit thicker bc I could hear everything from our neighbors in the evening and when they got up super early in the mornings, but a good set……

“I selected this hotel based on the photos and descriptions provided on the Expedia site. Once I checked in and gained admittance to the suite, I discovered it was shabby, broken furniture and dirty. “Great location! Ocean view room is the way to go! A little disappointed with the quality of the room though. Paid a premium for the Ocean View room and one of the two panes of glass in the window was fogged up. Bummer..... Also, the toilet leaked, ran every 10 minutes which was annoying in the middle of the night. Didn't try any of the food service or indoor pool so can't comment on those.
Except for the fact that it's an aging property the stay was nice. Probably would try another venue next……

“Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!”
